You know what I want is for Duke to stop her and say, "We can't." And she says, "Why?" and he says, "You know why." And she says he's right. If they actually say Nathan's name, that would be even better, but I also kind of love the idea that they wouldn't even have to say it. I want them to make clear than Audrey loves Nathan. I want her feelings being addressed. I don't want any ambiguity, because that way it could mean that they will stop because they know that Nathan is in love with Audrey and it would be a betrayal and I don't want it to be the reason because that doesn't make really any attempt to the NA ship, just shows how Duke and Audrey care for Nathan as friends would. Although I really like their friendship, what is hanging in a thin thread is the NA relationship. |

I'm mostly nervous about the Duke/Audrey BS. Nathan dying will be amazing because it will finally kick start Audrey in the right direction. But anything happening between Duke and Audrey will absolutely ruin the show and Na for me. Audrey is so completely out of it in the sneak, SOOO OOC. She pushed Nathan away because she loves him and wants him to move on when she's gone (which would never happen otherwise-he would just be hung up on her and would wait for 27 years IF he managed to stay alive which is her biggest worry) so she would NEVER purposefuly and sanely seek Duke out for a relationship. If duke doesnt turn her down I'll end up hating him as well because Audrey is in no state of mind to make decisions. Why the heck would she be willing to sleep with Duke when she pushed away the person she loves most? That says A LOT about how she feels about both of them TBH

Audrey is so completely out of it in the sneak, SOOO OOC. I can't even begin to figure out a way the writers could make this okay for me. If she really cares about Duke, then she is putting him in the kind of harms way she said she refused to put Nathan into at the beginning of the season. If she doesn't really care about Duke, then she is a total b for leading him on and dragging him around with her on dangerous adventures. If she really cares about Nathan she is a terrible person for getting it on with his worst enemy. And if she doesn't really care about Nathan, why did she push him away to begin with? I cannot come up with even 1 plausible scenario that leaves me not hating her. I have always had a problem with the way she treated the guys on the show (if not actively playing them against each other, then passively letting them both be interested in her when she could easily have made everyone's life easier with a frank conversation or two) and now she is being downright cruel to 1 if not both of them. Boo, Audrey! |

Boo, Audrey! This is very interesting. I agree she could have everyone's life easier but I think Audrey did never really see Duke as nothing but a friend. She is OOC in that sneak peak and I do hope Duke to stop her, but I also can't help but feel sorry for Audrey because right now she doesn't know what she is doing and she is too stubborn to see and admit that she is wrong...she is messed up, desperate, lost, confused and the more she makes Nathan dislike her, the more she thinks she is keeping him safe. Of course this is another mistake. Let's wait and see... |
