I think that was the first thing I noticed about this season when they started releasing pictures. I emailed my friend with links. I think all I said in the email was something along the lines of 'OH MY GOD. NATHAN. VESTS AND SUITS AND SO FUCKING DAPPER. UNF.'

Kind of makes me think of the very beginning of Season 1... Audrey dressed so professionally, and now she doesn't. Sure, she went from FBI to local cop, but you would think that some of that professionalism would have carried over. You know the wardrobe is still sitting in her closet.
Now in Season 3 Nathan's getting all snazzy for someone who's a small town cop. Sure, he's the chief, but I think there's more to it than that. Makes me think that he's trying to send a message to someone. 'Take me seriously, I'm the person you want to be talking to.' Image is everything, after all.
