So now we saw the Colorado Kid face and he is very very young. I guess he is the key to resolve the troubles forever.
I like that Audrey is starting to remember.

I have my own headcanons concerning Audrey, and all are invalid due to the fact they're all plot points in my damn fic and have nothing to do with season 3 whatsoever. (I've been ruined by my own imagination halp) But I definitely enjoy seeing everyone else's theories. If anything I can adopt one of yours.

I can't wait one week for each episode! I have stuff to do and I can't because Haven distracts me and now that I know some awesome stuff is about to happen, my life is ruined. I lost my soul to Haven #freakingout

So I'm pretty sure my original theory that Audrey is actually a time traveler is right and that the barn is a portal/time machine of sorts (just like in the dar tower novels where they had doors to time/space travel instead of a barn).

I really like the time traveler theory and so hope that you're right. It would make total sense for the barn to be a portal of sorts, and that Audrey 2 had her memory wiped by some sort of protection mechanism that makes sure that nobody else finds it. And why it was part of Audrey's vision/ dream last week.

Moving the timeline discussion. yeah, that's my point since the beginning. I guess to me, everything made sense until Audrey's "six months" comment in 301. That was the first time it ever occurred to me that the show wasn't taking place in "real time" (i.e. one season per year). I do agree, though, that the Nathan and Audrey (and Nathan/Audrey/Duke) relationship makes more sense emotionally if it takes place over a six month period. So, maybe you're right and Nathan is actually the outlier. Although... some of the things Jordan has said about the Guard also make me feel as though the Troubles have been back (and the Guard has been active) for a couple of years. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a mistake. This is some complicated mythology. But I guess... maybe Duke didn't know the Troubles were back (and had been for a while) because he's not technically Troubled? And maybe he, specifically, isn't "activated" until Audrey shows up? I hope that the time travel episode will give us some more clues.

I don't think they made mistakes about the timeline, as i said, it is a big deal. It's huge! They wouldn't just throw dates out of nowhere. We can't forget that the Troubles have to be triggered, after Audrey gets to Haven, she disturbs the town by digging old cases and fears, it could have triggered Beatrice's trouble (1.05), for example. Duke's trouble was triggered at least after 1.03, because he fights with Nathan and nothing weird happens to him.
And about the Guard... I don't know if they have clues about how the troubles keep coming back and relating Audrey to it. I wouldn't be surprised if they did. They can't just stop and "close the club" when the troubles go away knowing they will come back.

I wish I knew where the Haven wiki got that October 2010 date.
Here's another point of interest—the Christmas episode (2.13) takes place in July. If Audrey came to Haven in June or July, that has to mean she's been there for at least a year, doesn't it? I can't believe 2.13 happened after she'd only been there a couple of weeks. Everyone was too comfortable with each other.

Here's a thought... what if Sarah/Lucy/Audrey herself distorts things every time she shows up and ends up influencing how the Troubles behave in the future, so each time is different? Like a butterfly effect.
Also, what if the 27 year cycle doesn't signify the beginning, but the end of it?

See, 2.13 is a special episode. I don't think you should consider it

these pictures... are they canon? where did you find it? The site they were on said they were official SyFy pictures, but no, I don't think they appeared in canon (which is why I said haha). I guess I don't know why we shouldn't count 2.13? It didn't really happen? ETA: Here are the dates that the Haven wiki has for the Herald: havenmaine.wikia.com/wiki/Haven_HeraldI'm not really clear on how they arrived at these dates, though. They do not actually appear in the episodes listed.

This screen shot is actually from the show: ic.pics.livejournal.com/killabeez/973880/25857/25857_original.jpgWeirdness continues. This is supposedly an old Herald from around the time of the Colorado Kid murder. The date on the front page of the paper is October 22, 1983, and it says "Local Woman Disappears" about Lucy. However, in the article about The Hunter, it says the meteor shower already happened on October 21st, 2010. Um. What?
